Mission

WE EXIST TO MAKE

humanity visible again.

What we believe

What It Means to
Be More Human

Being human is not something we can take for granted anymore. It's something we have to choose.

The world is moving faster than ever. Everything is being automated and yet somehow, in the middle of all that speed, we've ended up more disconnected from each other than ever before.

That looks different for everyone, but it usually starts small. Saying hello to a stranger. Helping someone out without being asked. Staying curious about people who see the world differently than you do. Showing up for your community, not because you have to, but because you understand that culture doesn't build itself. It gets built by people who decide it matters.

Arts, culture and the people who create them are at the heart of that. They shape how cities feel, how communities see themselves, and how people connect with each other. That's not a luxury. That's what makes us human.

And that's why giving back is part of this.

If being human means showing up for the people and communities around you, then building a company that funds that is how we put belief into practice.

It started with a hoodie
that raised $350,000 for
local nonprofits.

Be More Human started with a single design that captured the culture and spirit of Philadelphia. That one hoodie went on to raise $350,000 for local nonprofits.

The experiment revealed two things. Apparel is cheap to make, which means there's real room to give back. And the culture and spirit of a city resonates with people in a way that's hard to explain but easy to feel. That became the idea behind Be More Human.

Founders Nate and Dan have been friends their whole lives. They grew up together in Bethlehem, New Hampshire, a small town where everyone knew each other, looked out for each other, and never thought twice about stopping to help a neighbor. That experience shaped how both of them see the world, and it sits at the core of what Be More Human is trying to do.
